Diving in Hurghada with Grand Divers

Daily Dives for Certified Divers

Do you want to enjoy diving in the Red Sea without having to spend a whole week on a boat? Our daily diving trips in Hurghada are the ideal choice for both beginners and experienced divers who want to experience the beauty of the underwater world and return to their hotel in the evening.

A day full of sea adventure awaits you:

  • 2 dives at different Red Sea locations
  • comfortable boat with a sundeck
  • delicious lunch and soft drinks on board
  • an experienced instructor or divemaster will accompany you underwater and will be on hand on board

Hurghada offers stunning coral reefs, shipwrecks, and rich marine life – from turtles and moray eels to dolphins, which sometimes join divers underwater. Read our blog about the best diving sites in and around Hurghada. We regularly visit these and many other beautiful spots, and we try to plan our tours so that we can discover as many different dive sites together as possible. Daily diving is a great way to explore various locations, meet other divers, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Red Sea.

Don’t have your own equipment?

No problem! You can easily rent complete diving equipment – from a basic set to a full package. Everything is regularly serviced and prepared so you can focus solely on your dives.

Introductory Dive – Try Diving

For those who don’t yet have a certificate but are drawn to the marine world, we offer Discover Scuba Diving – an introductory dive. Under our guidance, you will safely dive to a depth of approximately 5 meters and experience what it’s like to breathe underwater and swim among fish and corals.

Snorkeling for Non-Divers

If you have friends or family in your group who don’t dive, we’d be happy to take them on board too. They can enjoy snorkeling over coral reefs, swimming in the clear sea, or relaxing on the sundeck.

FAQs about Daily Trips:

Where does the boat depart from?

We cooperate with several dive centers within Hurghada, but most often we depart from dive centers on Sheraton Street.

What time should I be at the dive center?

On the first day of diving, it is necessary to fill out several forms and complete administrative tasks at the dive center before departure. Therefore, the first day starts a bit earlier, around 8:00 AM.

On other days, we can sleep in a bit; we will meet at 8:30 AM 🙂

How do I get to the dive center?

It depends on the number of divers. If there are up to 4 people, we will arrange transport with our car. We will pick you up and drop you off after diving, or arrange a taxi.

If there are more of you, a pre-arranged minibus will pick you up.

Transport is free in Hurghada city center; more distant locations will be charged extra. You will be informed about the price in advance, no surprises in this regard 🙂

What should I bring with me?

Divers:

passport (photo is sufficient)
diving license (photo is sufficient)
equipment

Non-divers:

passport (photo is sufficient)

Recommendations for everyone

towel or poncho
thin hat or scarf – it can be windy
from November to May, warmer clothing is recommended; after water activities, the perceived ambient temperature can be 10 degrees lower
eco coral-friendly cosmetic products
water bottle – stay hydrated!

From what age can a child be on board?

This is essentially limited only by the decision of the parent/legal guardian. Often, even newborns are with us as passengers. Even with a stroller 🙂

However, we recommend considering the weather conditions for the given day, as it can be uncomfortable in certain cases.

How many dives are standard on daily trips?

On a daily trip, we will do 2 dives together, at different locations.. these are included in the price.

If you still have the desire and energy, a third dive can be done on the way back, to the Suzanna wreck, or you can wait until sunset for a night dive. See the PRICE LIST FOR THESE EXTRAS

When will we be back at the marina?

Typically, daily boats return between 4-5 PM, depending on how far the location we are returning from is.
