In cooperation with the safari boat operator RED SEA EXPLORERS, we offer you and your diving buddies a liveaboard with Grand Divers aboard the MV Tala.

Liveaboard on MV TALA

MV Tala is a 37-meter steel vessel with air-conditioned lounges, outdoor relaxation areas, and cabins with private bathrooms. It is exceptionally stable, making it suitable for routes and locations more sensitive to weather conditions. It reaches a speed of 14 knots and is fully equipped for diving – from underwater scooters to a wide selection of tanks and gases.
The boat is known for its top-notch technical support even for technical divers, featuring a TriMix filling station, and the center will meet even the most demanding needs according to your dive requirements.

MV Tala has 3 decks with 11 cabins, each with a private bathroom, comfortably accommodating 22 guests. Each cabin has individually adjustable air conditioning.

The skilled and friendly crew members are available 24/7. The chef prepares three fresh meals daily, all from quality ingredients and always directly on board.

dpv scooter liveaboard diving red sea grand divers

Our liveaboard is not just about diving – it’s an expedition.
Every day we venture to top Red Sea locations, far from civilization and off the beaten path.

With scooters (DPV) you’ll glide along walls, reefs, and currents to places others can’t reach. They are ready for you and your buddies on board.
Never dived with one? You have to try it! We’ll give you a short training session on how to use it and go with you, no worries.

We do night dives wherever conditions allow – in silence, under the stars, with pulsating life beneath the surface.
You wake up to the sea, not an alarm clock – we dive early morning, during the day, and after dark.

We discover places where diving is still raw and authentic. Every dive is planned for those who want to experience more than just another entry in their logbook.

This is not a vacation. This is a real diving adventure.

Choose the best date and route for yourself, and let’s dive!

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about Liveaboards:

How do I sign up for a liveaboard?

Write to us via the contact form on the dates page, select the trip date you are interested in, and we will contact you to confirm availability.
Red Sea Explorers will then contact you via email, you’ll fill out a short form asking for your initials and extra requirements. And you’re on board 🙂

How and to whom do I pay for services in Egypt?

All surcharges for the boat and extra services (NTX, scooters, additional equipment..) can be paid in cash (EURO or USD) or by card at the end of the trip.
For marine tax, crew gratuities, and for us, your guides (this is voluntary, of course), please prepare cash.

Who will pick me up at the airport?

It will either be us or drivers from Red Sea Explorers. Just give us your arrival day, time, and flight number.
We will arrange your transfer to the airport after the trip in the same way.

I want to have a cabin all to myself. Is that possible?

Yes, you can be accommodated alone, but of course, there will be a surcharge. Just let us know, and we’ll send you an individual offer.

I have restrictions, intolerances... what about food?

Unfortunately, that’s how it is today; many are learning to live with it, and the galley staff on board are used to it. They will prepare everything considering your needs, and it will still be delicious and varied. Just please inform us in advance so the chefs can prepare the ingredients.

Who will I be diving with?

If you are a recreational diver (up to 40m), we, the Grand Divers instructors, will dive with you.

If you are a technical diver, there is always a local technical instructor on board for you. Each of them is a true professional; you can rely on them.

*Can I dive unguided? Once we get to know each other in the first few days, understand your diving style, and if you’re interested in diving unguided with your buddy, then yes, some dive sites do allow it. However, everything is at the instructor’s discretion.
